Materials for Floating Sapphires Pendant :-

12 x top-drilled round silver metals with floating “sapphires”
silver wire
silver metal spacer
crimp cover
cord or chain of choice

Step-by-step :-

1.  Cut a piece of silver wire of approx. 17cm and thread a sapphire metal more or less on to the centre of it and both bend wire ends upwards.  For ease of wire reference, you may want to leave one wire end slightly taller than the other one.  For instance the left being shorter and the right taller.  Add a sapphire metal on to the right wire end.

2.  Next, feed both wires through a third sapphire metal.  Pull the wires to ensure that they fit snugly.

3.  Simply continue this sequence by adding a right hand metal on to the right wire end only and feed the left hand metal through both wires.  Continue until you’ve used all twelve metals.

4.  Finish the pendant by twisting the wire ends together for approx. 2cm.  Slide the metal spacer onto the wire loop and finish with a wrapped loop.  Trim excess wire.  You may also cover the wrap with a crimp cover for a more professional finish.  Slide through chain or cord of desired choice and length.
